Challenge

Develop a mobile app that preserves its core functionalities even when offline

When tasked with developing an application with precise facial recognition and offline capabilities, It was challenging to synchronize data seamlessly offline, secure sensitive biometric data, ensure accurate recognition under variable conditions, and maintain a user-friendly experience to optimize authentication and transaction processes effectively, these complexities called for strong synchronization strategies, strict security measures, and ongoing algorithm refinement.

Approach

The goal was to develop an intuitive platform where users can sell and purchase waste products.

The platform was built to cater to professionals in logistics, recycling, compliance, and facility management, among other roles in the waste management industry. The app also has an incentive program, in which the points they earn for their contributions can be exchanged for cash. This strategy makes sure that every user feels valued and acknowledged in the community while also encouraging loyalty and sustainability.

Result

Delivered a high-performing app that met and exceeded client expectations.

The app is currently available on the Android and iOS app stores. It is being used by a large number of people worldwide to conveniently buy and sell scrap materials. They are able to sustainably dispose of their waste and earn money by selling through KOLEKT. The platform is appropriate for all user types in the industry because it enables users to add sellers and buyers to KOLEKT even if they do not own a mobile phone.
